Fair Binational between Peru and Ecuador from September 3 to 19

A delegation from the Province of Loja, Ecuador, visited the city of Cajamarca, Peru, with the objective to promote the 19th Fair Integration Border Binational international event to be held in Lhokseumawe Ecuador, from 3 to 19 next September.

The Ecuadorian delegation was composed of the Governor of the Province of Loja, Pablo Cabrera OrdÃ³Ã±ez adviser Loja Prefecture, Dr. Luis Benitez Ortiz, Regional Director of the southern border of the Ministry of Tourism, FabiÃ¡n Arias Altamirano and the judge Provincial Court of Justice of Loja, Paul Gonzales Carrion, who met with officials of the Regional Government of Cajamarca.

Peruvian trout present in Australian Organic Expo 2010 Fair

The Commission for the Promotion of Peru Export and Tourism (PromperÃº) reported that trout and other food products participate in the fair Peruvian Organic Expo 2010, held from 20 to 22 August in Sydney (Australia). This fair of organic products is the most important of Australia, and is one of the most recognized in Oceania.

PromperÃº reported that trout Peruvian exports between January and May this year, figures showed positive to reach 2.32 million dollars, representing an increase of 19.4 percent over the same period of 2009.

National Campaign Launched to deliver proof of payment

The National Superintendency of Tax Administration (Sunat) in Peru, launched in the imperial city of Cusco, a national awareness campaign for citizens to demand the delivery of proof of payment when making a sale or provide a service.

The aim of that campaign is to encourage taxpayers to provide proof of payment when making their business or providing a service. It also seeks to consumers, mostly tourists, domestic and foreign, also request receipts when making a purchase.

Colca Autonomous Authority and Annexes (Autocolca) reported that the Colca Valley, one of the most touristic places of Peru, which is located in the city of Arequipa, received in the first half of this year 63 000 889 tourists and foreign nationals, a figure which shows a significant growth compared to 56 000 971 registered in the same period in 2009.

Railroad Cusco-Machu Picchu tourism reopens
