The Peruvian government launched a tourism incentive to the city of Cusco, the same consisting of 50% reduction in prices as a measure to offset the decline in the influx of foreign visitors due to the inaccessibility of the Inca citadel of Machu Pichu, which is the main tourist attraction in Peru.

Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Martin Perez, the campaign must be directed first to domestic tourists, then to American tourists, and a third stage to visitors from around the world.

We are currently working on repairing the railroad to Machu Picchu. The train is the only means of mass transport to Machu Picchu, located in the Cusco region 500 kilometers southeast of Lima.
The tourism incentive campaign, and came into force and is the significant reduction of airline tickets round trip to Cusco, which can be purchased at $ 49, and stays at major hotels in the city that range from 70 and 369 soles.
